About Embraced Beginnings
Hi, I’m Sara!
I’m a mum of 3, living local in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. I’m a Kangatrainer, Babywearing Consultant and Keeping Mum host.
Keeping my baby close always felt instinctively right to me. But when I began, the world of babywearing was overwhelming and it was hard to find the support I needed. I spent a lot of time researching and watching videos, learning all I could.
It was then that I found Kangatraining. Being able to get out of the house, move my body and get to know other mums all while snuggling my baby in the carrier sounded like a dream come true. I fell in love with it the moment I walked into that first class. The supportive atmosphere, the fun, the laughter. The knowledge that I was doing something for myself without compromising my baby’s needs was incredibly empowering. So when the opportunity arose to become a trainer myself, I jumped at the chance and I’ve never looked back.
Since then I have added Kangatraining Kids classes to my services. It was the perfect next step for my long term Kanga families. A space to now sit back and let their children, as well as mine, learn to enjoy moving their bodies.
With my passion for babywearing and helping families, it made sense to undergo training through the Australian Babywearing Association to become a babywearing consultant myself. These studies kept me busy during the many lockdowns of 2020 and Embraced Beginnings was born.
Now I get to share my babywearing knowledge with parents and caregivers throughout Adelaide. I offer a safe and supportive place for mothers to return to exercise. As well as support our children’s creativity, imagination and physical development.
And now we have the amazing Keeping Mum mother’s group program on board too. It’s a wonderful space focussing on Mums at any stage of their parenting journey and bringing them together to create strong and lasting connections.
So let me help you get the most out of your babywearing journey. Come dance and laugh with me at Kangatraining or sit back, relax and let me engage your children in some fun and games at Kangatraining Kids. Or if you’re just looking to find your village, join me at a Keeping Mum mother’s group.
